Oasis's first greatest hits album, Stop the Clocks, is money in the bank for their record company. For Oasis fans, it is testimony to the brilliance of an iconic band that has - despite not being musically brilliant - outlasted many of its Britpop contemporaries in terms of record sales and influence.
