Josh is seeking spousal support and requested all rights to his property before they tied the knot, as well as equal division of the property they acquired during their marriage – including the rights to any HGTV or Discovery shows they developed or produced.
Christina, meanwhile, is not requesting spousal support and does not want her husband to be awarded it.

This is Christina Hall’s third “failed” marriage
Christina – who first gained fame on HGTV’s home makeover series Flip or Flop before expanding her brand with shows such as Christina on the Coast and Christina in the Country – also shares kids Taylor, 13, and Brayden, eight, with ex-husband Tarek El Moussa. She was married to the wealthy property investor, who also co-hosted Flip or Flop, for nine years.
Defending her high-profile relationships
In a since-deleted 2022 Instagram post, Christina was defiant amid scuttlebutt about her third high-profile marriage.
“I may be a bit crazy and I’m definitely not perfect, but I will never live my life based on other people’s judgments or opinions,” she wrote. “We pride ourselves on never judging others and always wanting others to be happy and we wish others would have the same respect … So yes ‘another relationship’ and guess what. I’m 38 – I’ll do what I want.”
Her ex-husband accused her of using their son for content
On April 28, 2022, Anstead filed an emergency request for full custody of their son, Hudson.
In his court filing that we were able to review, Anstead said he was Hudson’s “primary parent”, and that Christina only spent an average of “nine full days each month” with their son.
Anstead also said in the court documents that Christina had put Hudson in “dangerous” situations, including a sunburn so severe it made him cry.
The filing continued that Christina used her time with Hudson to post about him on social media, sometimes for sponsored content. Anstead requested that a judge block Christina from posting Hudson in any “commercial endeavour” until they reached a new custody agreement.Christina rebuked Anstead’s claims in a statement. “I have had my share of ups and downs, but I am a good mum and I love my children with all my heart, and I will always protect them,” she said.
After a months-long custody battle, during which both accused the other of “exploiting” Hudson throughout their legal fight, Christina and Anstead were finally able to resolve their issues and retain joint custody in November 2022.
She has upcoming projects with her ex and soon-to-be ex-husbands
In May 2024, before Christina and Josh filed for divorce, HGTV announced that the El Moussas and Halls would star in a new show together. On May 15, HGTV shared a promo video for a new show called The Flip Off, starring the El Moussas and the Halls.
However, a source just told US Weekly that the other three are proceeding with the show sans Josh: “They’re moving forward with the show without him.”
According to HGTV’s caption, the show will pit the two couples against each other in “a battle to see who can find, buy, renovate and flip a house for the biggest financial gain”. “Be on the lookout for the spicy new series that’ll have you saying, ‘What the flip?!’” the caption went on to say. The show is scheduled for 2025, according to the post.
